I was born in New York City and grew up in the Bronx.  I studied art at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York and earned a BFA.  Later I earned an M.A. in Art History at the University of Toronto in Ontario. I have lived in Massachusetts since 1971 and live in Marlborough, Mass.  As co-founded and performer of The Gerwick Puppets, http://gerwickpuppets.com  and http://puppetshowsforchildren.com I created and performed throughout New England and southern New York for over four decades.  My Rhythm paintings that extend beyond a hundred can be viewed on my website devoted totally to them, https://contemporaryartnewenglandnewyork.com
